Gary Govender

Gary Govender has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology auditing, currently serving as the Head of Audit - Information Technology at Sanlam since August 2004. His career at Sanlam has seen him progress through roles including Senior Audit Manager, Audit Manager, and Senior Information Technology Auditor. Prior to joining Sanlam, Gary Govender worked at Ernst & Young from July 1999 to August 2004 as an Assistant Manager. Academic qualifications include a BCom Honours in Information Systems from the University of the Western Cape, obtained in 2003, and a BCompt in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Africa.
