Grant Walker

Grant Walker is an experienced Cloud Security and DevSecOps Consultant at Sanlam since February 2014, specializing in the security of cloud-deployed solutions and integrating them with existing security operations. Walker has also served as an Information Security Officer, overseeing governance and management of information security activities, and as Head of Enterprise Architecture, where responsibilities included managing architecture and user experience design teams. Previous roles include Systems Architect and Development Team Leader at MiWay Insurance Limited and Sanlam, focusing on application infrastructure modernization, development processes, and leading development teams. Grant Walker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of South Africa and completed the Sanlam Senior Management Development Programme in Business Administration and Management.
