Jacques Joubert

Jacques Joubert is a seasoned Big Data Manager and Architect at Sanlam since March 2015, overseeing the development and management of the Big Data service, including Cloudera CDP and CDF clusters. Previous roles at Sanlam include serving as a Technical Architect for Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Big Data, where responsibilities encompassed the architectural design of a data management platform and the establishment of advanced analytics capabilities. Additional experience includes positions at IBM as a DB2 z/OS DBA and at Dyne Technologies as an ECM Consultant. Jacques Joubert possesses a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Africa and has extensive knowledge in content management, database systems, and various programming technologies.
