Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is a Senior Talent Specialist and Assessment Practitioner at Sanlam since June 2020. Prior to this role, Ryan took a sabbatical from January 2019 to May 2020 and worked as a private tutor in 2018. Ryan's extensive experience at The Foschini Retail Group included positions from HR Graduate Trainee to Senior HR Consultant in both Talent Acquisition and Psychometric Assessment, as well as Operations, spanning nearly nine years. Earlier career roles also include positions as a Talent Scout at 3D Model Management and Psychometrist at Maxie Consulting. Ryan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Organisational Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Science in Organisational Psychology and Industrial Sociology, both earned at the University of Cape Town.
