Umar Ally

Umar Ally is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in network management and project management. Since May 2018, Umar has served as a Platform Owner and Service Line Manager at Sanlam. Prior to this role, Umar worked as a Lead IT Specialist at Old Mutual South Africa from March 2016 to May 2018 and as a Cisco Network Specialist at T-Systems from 2008 to 2016. Umar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management with a focus on Information Technology Project Management from the University of Cape Town, obtained between 2016 and 2017, and completed a Business Management Program at Stellenbosch Business School in 2020. Early education was completed at Centenary Secondary from 1991 to 1993.
