Josh Buono

Josh Buono is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in employee experience and management. Currently serving as the Director of Employee Experience at SanMar since June 2017, Josh oversees all aspects of the employee experience within distribution centers. Previously, Josh held the position of HR Manager at SanMar's Sparks, NV distribution center, where responsibilities included managing HR functions for approximately 375 employees and providing leadership and mentorship. Prior experience includes serving as HR Manager at TreeHouse Foods, where responsibilities involved managing HR functions for 150 employees and overseeing workplace safety programs, as well as progressive roles from HR/Benefits Coordinator to HR Generalist. Josh began a career in human resources as an HR Analyst Trainee with Washoe County, focusing on recruitment and job analysis. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Nevada, Reno.
