Ian Johnstone

Ian Johnstone has extensive experience in human resources, spanning over three decades, primarily in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Ex Director of HR EMEA at Sanmina since June 2021, Ian has been with Sanmina-SCI since December 1997, holding positions that include HR Manager for Europe, where responsibilities included due diligence, expatriate management, restructuring, and recruitment initiatives. Previous roles include Director of Human Resources at Hussmann Europe, HR and Safety Manager overseeing multiple manufacturing plants, and Regional Personnel & Training Officer at Gateway Foodmarkets Ltd. Additionally, Ian has experience as a Regional HR Manager at Magnet PLC and served as an Industrial Relations Officer with the Scottish Building Employers Federation. Ian holds HNDs in Business Studies with a focus on HR Management and Marketing from the University of the West of Scotland and the University of Portsmouth.
