Lim Jin

Lim Jin has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and manufacturing industry. Lim started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Motorola Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 1988, where they were responsible for mechanical design, collaborating with suppliers, and program management for product design. Lim then moved up the ranks within Motorola, holding positions such as Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Operation Manager, and Director of Manufacturing Engineering. In 2007, Lim Jin joined Motorola Technology Sdn Bhd as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, where they stayed until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they served as the Senior Director of Operations and Supply Chain at Motorola Solution Malaysia Sdn Bhd before joining Sanmina in 2016 as the VP and Plant Manager, overseeing a workforce of over 1500 and managing the entire supply chain operation.

Lim Jin completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne from 1984 to 1987. Later, from 1991 to 1996, Lim Jin obtained a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malaya.
