John Chia

John Chia graduated with 1st class Honours in MBBS from the University of Queensland and completed their internship in Brisbane before undertaking basic surgical training. After obtaining the surgical FRCS (Edinburgh) in 1990, they returned to Singapore for advanced training and subsequently joined the National University of Singapore as an Assistant Professor in Surgery. With an MBA from the University of Chicago, they held roles at A*Star and GE HealthCare, where they served as Medical Director for Asia-Pacific Medical Diagnostics. Currently, John is the Global Medical Director for Sanofi, overseeing global medical affairs across various therapeutic areas.
