Jon Smith

Jon Smith is a CMC Leader for recombinant COVID vaccines at Sanofi Pasteur, where they have been since 2020. Previously, Jon held various significant roles at Sanofi Pasteur, including Project Leader for the development of new influenza vaccines, Senior Director Executive Support, and AVP Chief of Staff for R&D. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Group Leader at Lonza Biologics, overseeing cell culture process development and managing project teams. Jon holds a PhD in Microbial Physiology from the University of Surrey, an MBA from HEC School of Management, and a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Kent.
