Patrick McLain has extensive experience in government relations and policy, serving as Vice President of Federal Government Relations at GlaxoSmithKline from 1997 to 2009 and currently holding the position of Vice President of Federal Government Affairs & Policy at sanofi-aventis since September 2009. Prior to his work in the private sector, McLain served as Counsel for the US House of Representatives from April 1975 to December 1988 and worked as Vice President at Rowan & Blewitt from January 1989 to March 1997. McLain holds a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law (1975) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from the University of Florida (1971).
