Andre Engling

Andre Engling possesses extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently holding the position of Head CMC Microbial Portfolio in Global CMC Global Project Management at Sanofi since September 2021. Prior to this, Engling served as a Senior Biotech CMC Program Lead at Merck Group from March 2019 to August 2021, and as Senior Director - Head Analytical Strategy at Biotest AG from June 2017 to January 2019. Engling's career also includes significant roles at BPC Plasma, Inc., where responsibilities spanned Senior Director of Quality Control and Analytical Development, as well as Director of Analytical Development and Quality Operations. Earlier experiences at Biotest AG featured leadership positions in release testing and bioanalytics. Engling began the career at Cellca GmbH as a Scientist. Engling holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Heidelberg University, earned between 1995 and 2006.
