Benjamin Suratt

Global Project Head

Benjamin Suratt currently serves as Global Project Head at Sanofi, leading the clinical development of Lunsekimig since June 2020. Prior to this role, Benjamin served as Clinical Lead, managing a team of six Clinical Research Directors and Clinical Scientists in Immunology and Inflammation Early Drug Development. Benjamin's extensive experience includes 18 years at The University of Vermont Medical Center as a Medical Informaticist and Attending Physician specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care, as well as leadership roles in cancer survivorship and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency centers. Additionally, Benjamin was a Professor of Cell & Molecular Biology at the University of Vermont, with a research focus on innate immunity and lung disease. Early career experiences include positions at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, McKesson Health IT, Harvard Medical School, and ImmunoGen, Inc. Benjamin’s educational background includes an MD from Columbia University and a BA in Organic Chemistry/Immunology from Amherst College.
