Beth Mathiesen

Beth Mathiesen is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and business development within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Head of Sanofi Pasteur BD and Licensing at Sanofi since July 2012, Beth has held several key positions including Principal Counsel for Strategy, BD and M&A - Patents, Global Head of Vaccines Patents, and Senior Director of Sanofi Pasteur Intellectual Property. Prior to Sanofi, Beth worked at Pfizer as Corporate Counsel-Patents and began a legal career at Finnegan. Education includes a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, a Ph.D. in Virology from Harvard University, and a B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis.
