Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy, CMRP, is the Principal Reliability Engineer at Genzyme, a Sanofi company, where they oversee reliability throughout the lifecycle of facilities, utilities, and process equipment in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. They previously served as a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer at Bristol-Myers Squibb and worked as an Electrical/Controls Project Engineer at Envirosep. Brian has a background in marine engineering, holding a B.S. from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and has extensive experience as a Marine Engineer with the U.S. Merchant Marine, as well as a prior role as an Automation Engineer at 3V Inc. They also served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy from 1986 to 1990.
