Carla D'Avanzo

Carla D'Avanzo, PhD, currently serves as the Head of the Center of Excellence for Partnering at Sanofi, where they manage R&D alliances in immunology, technology platforms, and rare and neuro diseases. Previously, they worked as a Senior Research Alliance Manager at the Mass General Research Institute, promoting translational medicine and fostering collaborations between academic institutions and industry partners. Carla has over a decade of experience in Alzheimer’s disease research and holds a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Naples “Federico II,” Italy. Their academic journey also includes completion of a Mini-MBA course at Harvard University and various business and project management courses.
