Danielle Dong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in rare disease registries and scientific advocacy. Currently serving as the Scientific Advocacy Lead and previously as the Global Operations and Advocacy Lead at Sanofi, responsibilities include leading patient initiatives and external collaborations within the real-world data/evidence ecosystem. Danielle has held various roles in global site operations, specifically supporting projects related to Gaucher, Fabry, Pompe, and Mucopolysaccharidosis type I Registries. Prior to Sanofi, experience includes serving as a Global Site Operations Manager at Chiltern and providing operational support as a Clinical Project Leader for Sanofi Genzyme. Additionally, Danielle has experience in managing interdisciplinary care for lysosomal storage disease patients at the University of Virginia Health System and has provided genetic counseling in pediatrics, adult, cancer, and prenatal services. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
