Derek Walsh

Derek Walsh is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a robust background in people and project management, specializing in operational excellence across multinational organizations in the electronic, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors. Currently serving as the Head of SMS Leads, they oversee the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity. Prior roles include Production Supervisor at Boston Scientific and Production Team Leader at Nypro, a Jabil Company, where they were instrumental in establishing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Derek holds multiple degrees from the Waterford Institute of Technology and Cork Institute of Technology, including a Master's in Lean Practice and a Master's degree in Master Black Belt.
