Edith Pfister

Edith Pfister is a Senior Lead in Cross-Cluster Integration within the Genomic Medicine Unit, focusing on scientific writing and communication in gene therapy, genetics, and genomics. They are a bench-trained scientist with a background in translational research and bioinformatics, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s Disease and Alzheimer's. Edith's extensive experience includes managing collaborative research projects and software development, supplemented by a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and an A.B. in Computer Science from Brown University. Previously, they have held roles as a Research Assistant, Postdoctoral Associate, and Project Manager, among others.
