Hubert Haag has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, starting with a postdoctoral fellowship at Novartis's Lead Finding Unit from 1992 to 1995. Haag held significant roles at Boehringer Ingelheim as Head of Natural Products & Pharmacokinetics and Senior Scientist from 1998 to 2000, and at sanofi-aventis from 2000 to 2003 as Head of Natural Products Screening and Global Management Lead for Discovery Technologies. Continuing with Sanofi, Haag served as Director of Global Sourcing & External Opportunities Lead Identification from February 2009 to November 2017, before taking the position of Director of Technology Platforms in Global Business Development & Licensing in September 2017. Haag earned a doctoral degree in Biochemistry from Universität Tübingen between 1983 and 1992.
