Inca Kusters

Inca Kusters is a Senior Director of External R&D at Sanofi Pasteur, where they focus on developing new vaccine targets and technologies. Trained as a molecular biologist, Kusters holds a Master's degree in Agronomic and Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University and earned a PhD in Virology from the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon in 1996. Kusters has amassed extensive experience in virology and vaccinology, contributing to projects involving vaccines for SARS and the H1N1 pandemic. Prior to their work at Sanofi Pasteur, they served as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Hôpital Cardio-Vasculaire et Neurologique, studying autoimmune responses in neurological syndromes.
