James Cao

James Cao is a Senior Principle Scientist at Sanofi, specializing in preclinical project efficacy and safety studies across multiple disease areas including inflammation, immunology, neurology, oncology, and rare diseases. With 17 years of experience at Sanofi, they have held various roles, including Principle Research Investigator, where they focus on translational in vivo model bioimaging and biomarker validation. James has also contributed as a leader in the Aventis Japan early project evaluation team, and served as President-elect of the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association–New England. They hold advanced degrees in fields related to physics and health science from institutions including Lanzhou University, Stanford University, and Columbia University.
