Laurent Schio

Laurent Schio is currently the Head of Integrated Drug Discovery at Sanofi France, a role they have held since 2017. Prior to this, they served in various capacities at Sanofi, including Global Head of Oncology Medicinal Chemistry and Laboratory Head, focusing on projects such as anti-fungal and antibacterial discoveries. Laurent completed a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Chemistry from Ecole nationale supérieure de Chimie de Rennes and earned a PhD in Organic Synthesis from Université de Rennes I, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Florida Institute of Technology. Additionally, since 2020, they have been an Associé investisseur and President of the Scientific Council at ENERGO.
