Luis Torres

Luis Torres is an Artificial Intelligence Scientist at Sanofi, where they develop automated, AI-driven methods for drug discovery and molecular design. Currently pursuing a PhD in Informatics Engineering at the University of Coimbra, they focus on innovative and explainable AI methods to optimize drug discovery processes. Luis has previously worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft, where they developed a graph-based deep learning framework for drug discovery, and held a Statistics & Decision Sciences Internship at Janssen, applying Transformer-based deep learning models to enhance insights for drug development. They hold a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Coimbra.
