Lukas Budzynski

Lukas Budzynski, CFA, FRM, serves as the Global Head of Pension Advisory and Managing Director at Sanofi European Treasury Center SA since October 2002, overseeing global pensions with assets under management exceeding EUR 20 billion for over 120,000 employees. In this capacity, Lukas chairs the Global Pension Investment Committee, manages investment governance and funding projects, and leads a cross-border in-house pension investment consulting team. Prior experience includes leadership roles in internal audit at Carraig Insurance DAC and Le Rock Re SA, and contributions to the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) as a member of the Occupational Pension Stakeholders Group. Lukas began a professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where auditing of major European insurance groups was conducted. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Management/International Trade from Poznan University of Economics and Business and studies at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, alongside attendance at Thomas Jefferson High School in the USA.
