Mallik Paranandi

Mallik Paranandi serves as the Global Head and Vice President of Biologics Drug Product Development & Manufacturing at Sanofi since June 2021. Responsibilities include leading global Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) teams in end-to-end drug product development across multiple modalities, focusing on innovative formulation and process designs to enhance patient experience and compliance. Prior to Sanofi, Mallik was with Amgen from 2003 to May 2021, holding several executive roles including Executive Director of Drug Product Process Development and Drug Product Technologies, where Mallik oversaw process development, new product introductions, and regulatory submissions. Earlier experience at Novartis/Chiron involved serving as Principal Scientist, where Mallik led commercial formulation development for various biopharmaceutical products. Mallik holds a PhD in Chemistry & Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and additional education from UC Irvine.
