Mark Huysmans

Mark Huysmans has over 20 years of experience in supply chain and materials management. Currently serving as a Material Agent in Supply Chain – Materials Management at Genzyme Sanofi since March 2013, Mark drives the implementation of new materials and suppliers while interfacing with various stakeholders across departments. Prior roles include Buyer for Indirect Materials at Sanofi Genzyme, where responsibilities included the timely creation of purchase orders and vendor negotiations, and Manufacturing Scheduler at Genzyme, focusing on production scheduling and ensuring raw material availability. Earlier experience includes a Buyer position at Pentair Water Belgium, where Mark planned purchases and negotiated with suppliers. Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Office Management from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, obtained in 1999.
