Monica Kumar

Monica Kumar, MD, MPH, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. As Global Medical Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Monica led safety teams for virology and immunology drugs and authored critical safety reports. Previously, as Consultant Medical Director at Covance, Monica directed clinical strategies across various therapeutic areas. At Johnson & Johnson, Monica was instrumental in designing Phase I clinical trials in women's health. Monica has held leadership roles at Sanofi, including Senior Clinical Research Director and Senior Global Project Head, overseeing large-scale clinical trials and regulatory strategies. An Obstetrician/Gynecologist during the earlier part of her career, Monica completed a residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and obtained an MD from Boston University School of Medicine, along with a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
