Nathan Westcott

Nathan Westcott is currently the Group Head and Distinguished Scientist for Non-viral Gene Therapy Formulations at Sanofi's Genomic Medicine Unit. Previously, they served as a Director at Beam Therapeutics, where they led a team focused on the extrahepatic delivery of lipid nanoparticles. Nathan also held positions as a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Repertoire Immune Medicines, where they advanced liposomal formulations targeting autoimmune diseases. They completed postdoctoral research at The Rockefeller University, developing innovative chemical reporters for cancer treatment, after earning a PhD in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia.
