Paul Désert

Paul Désert is the Global Head of Non-Clinical Safety & Predictive Sciences at Sanofi Vaccines R&D. In this role, they oversee all toxicology deliverables for the Vaccines GBU and lead a team of toxicologists, fostering their development and enhancing collaboration with scientific communities. Paul has previously served as a Senior Toxicologist at both Abbott Lab and CIT, where they contributed to nonclinical safety strategies and regulatory documentation. They hold a D.Pharm. and multiple advanced degrees in Pharmacy and Toxicology from the School of Pharmacy, Rouen, and University René Descartes in Paris. Paul is also an active member of various toxicology societies and engages in mentoring within Sanofi.
