Robert McDonald

Robert McDonald holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Science (BSc HONS) in Immunology & Pharmacology from the University of Bristol. McDonald has extensive experience in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry, including roles as a Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow, where research focused on chronic inflammation, vascular inflammation mechanisms, and systemic inflammatory conditions. McDonald has also worked at Sanofi, serving as a Global Publication Lead for new dermatology indications, and in various medical science liaison roles, managing teams and coordinating brand communications. Notably, McDonald has contributed to significant research collaborations and projects involving pharmacological and genetic approaches to understanding cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases.
