Sam Simons

Sam Simons is an experienced regulatory professional with a robust background in vaccine development and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as the Director and Global Regulatory Team Leader at Sanofi Pasteur since September 2019, Sam leads teams in the formulation of global submission strategies for new vaccines. Prior to this role, Sam held similar positions at Protein Sciences Corporation, including Deputy Director of Regulatory Affairs, where responsibilities encompassed managing submission teams and expanding the Flublok vaccine license internationally. Sam's career includes earlier roles as Regulatory Manager and Specialist at Protein Sciences Corporation, as well as scientific positions at Pfizer and Sterling Winthrop, focusing on protein characterization and biochemistry. Sam holds an M.S. in Plant Genetics from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Millikin University.
