Sheetal Bhan

Sheetal Bhan is a Principal Scientist at Sanofi, where they focus on Bioassay and Molecular Analytical Development in the Genomic Medicines Unit. They earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where they also contributed to establishing protocols for the Genomics Facility and trained fellow students and residents. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories and as a Lead Analyst at bluebird bio. Sheetal completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from 2007 to 2015, after obtaining an MS in Biotechnology from Madurai Kamaraj University and a BS in Biochemistry from Delhi University.
