Song Sun

Song Sun is the Unit Head of High-throughput Sequencing at Sanofi Pasteur Analytical Sciences. They previously held positions as a Genomics and Computational Scientist at Sanofi Pasteur, as well as various research roles including a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Associate at the University of Toronto. Song completed their PhD and a VR International Postdoc at Uppsala University, where they focused on antibiotic resistance and yeast-based functional assays. They also served as a Scientific Advisory Board Member for Ranomics, contributing insights on rare gene variants in preventative medicine. Song holds an MSc in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from Uppsala University and a BSc in Biochemistry from Shandong University.
