Stephen Crooke

Stephen Crooke, PhD, is currently the Head of Virology for Vaccines at Sanofi, where they lead strategic scientific efforts within the Global Clinical Immunology division. With a robust background in vaccine immunology, they previously held significant roles at the CDC, including Acting Team Lead and Lead Microbiologist, directing research on measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines. Their academic foundation includes a PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology, where they focused on protein nanoparticle platforms for vaccine design, and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University. Additionally, Stephen has contributed to high-impact publications and has been recognized as one of Georgia Southern's 40 Under 40 for their influence in public health.
