Stephen McManus

Stephen McManus serves as the Deputy Chief of the Bucks County Hazardous Incident Response Team since January 2012, overseeing emergency response operations for a region with a population of 625,249. In addition, Stephen has held the position of Fire Chief (Deputy Director) at Sanofi Pasteur since June 2006, managing a full-time Emergency Response Team responsible for the safety of staff and visitors at the site. Earlier roles include Haz Mat Chief at the Bucks County Hazardous Incident Response Team from 1987 to 1992, where Stephen managed emergency operations and departmental budgets, and Assistant County Fire Marshal from 1981 to 1990, involved in fire investigations and public safety education. Stephen McManus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Police Administration and Fire Protection and Control from Eastern Kentucky University, earned between 1978 and 1980.
