Thorsten Schmidt

Thorsten Schmidt is the Global Head of the Digital Biologics Platform in Large Molecule Research at Sanofi, a position held since 2002. They have extensive experience in various research areas, including assay development and diabetes research, and currently focus on developing multispecific biotherapeutics. Thorsten began their career as a Research Scientist at Bayer from 1999 to 2002 and completed a postdoctoral research position at University Hospital Essen in 1999. They hold a PhD from the Institute for Cell Biology at University Hospital Essen and a diploma in human biology from Philipps-Universität Marburg.
