Tracy Hsiao

Tracy Hsiao currently serves as the mRNA Head of CMC Drug Substance Leaders and Experts at Sanofi since November 2023. Prior to this role, Tracy held the position of Senior Director, CMC Program Lead at Evelo Biosciences from November 2018 to November 2023, overseeing a portfolio of projects and leading CMC strategy for technical operations. Tracy's extensive experience also includes various director roles at Shire, where responsibilities spanned bioprocess development, establishing an ERT Competency Center, and leading cross-functional teams for drug manufacturing and technology transfer. Earlier positions included leading process development initiatives at Altus Pharmaceuticals and DesigneRx Pharmaceuticals. Tracy earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
