Warny Michael

Warny Michael is the Director of External R&D at Sanofi Pasteur, where they have worked since 2013, performing scientific evaluations of external vaccine opportunities and leading due diligence teams. With 17 years of experience in the vaccine industry, Warny has successfully led the development of pre-clinical and clinical-stage vaccine candidates for C. difficile and meningococcal disease, overseeing Phase I and Phase III trials in the US. They hold both an MD and a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Université catholique de Louvain. Prior to their current role, Warny held leadership positions at Acambis Inc., Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, and served as an instructor in medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.
