Xiaoying Jin is the Head of GMU BioAnalytics Characterization at Sanofi, where they lead a team of experts in mass spectrometry and biophysics to support the development of gene and cell therapies. With over twenty years of experience in characterizing therapeutic proteins and gene therapy products, they are responsible for defining analytical paradigms and establishing batching strategies. Previously, Xiaoying served as a Senior Principal Scientist at Sanofi from 2014 to 2020 and as a Senior Scientist at Genzyme from 2000 to 2007. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 2000.
