Yi Li is a biomanufacturing expert with extensive experience in process development and commercial manufacturing for biologics. Yi served as a Senior Scientist and Team Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2013 to 2016, focusing on late-stage development for Fc-fusion proteins and immuno-oncology antibodies. Prior to that, Yi worked at Merck from 2000 to 2013 as an Associate Principal Engineer and Team Lead in bioprocess development for various drug platforms. Currently, Yi is the Global Head of Downstream Drug Substance at Sanofi and has held various leadership roles within the company since 2016, including Director of Global Manufacturing Science and Technology. Yi is also pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware.
