Elske Hylkema

Elske Hylkema is currently the Company Secretary of the Board of Directors and serves as Legal Counsel at Sanquin, where they contribute to the organization responsible for the blood supply in the Netherlands. They previously held the position of Senior Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and financial regulation law. Elske has also gained a wealth of experience in various legal roles, including junior associate and advocate at different firms. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Law with a minor in Business Studies and a Master's degree in Corporate Law, both from Universiteit Leiden.
