Patrick Varela

Patrick Varela has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Patrick started their career at Nambe in 1994, where they worked as a Manager for 15 years until 2009. Following that, they joined the New Mexico Department of Transportation as a Plant Manager from 2009 to 2012. Since 2013, Patrick has been working at Santa Fe County, where they first served as the Santa Fe County Treasurer and currently holds the position of Santa Fe County Chief Deputy Treasurer.

Patrick Varela obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business/Finance from Colorado Technical University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, Patrick also obtained several certifications from Credit Repair Cloud, including Advanced Disputing in February 2023, Basic Disputing in January 2023, and CRC Software Certification in January 2023.
