Daniel Bates is an accomplished musician serving as the Director of Choirs and Music Director at American Heritage Schools - Broward Campus since August 2023 and as the Artistic Director for Florida Singing Sons since August 2019. Additionally, Daniel is an Apprentice Singer at The Santa Fe Opera, where performances include roles such as The Butler in *Salome* and Junior/Charlie in the World Premiere of *Cold Mountain*. Previous experience includes voice teaching at North Broward Preparatory School, performing key roles in various operas such as Beppe in *I Pagliacci* and Ernesto in *Don Pasquale*, and being a Young Artist at Florida Grand Opera. Daniel holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Ithaca College.
