Mark Wright

Mark Wright has extensive experience in financial crime prevention and transaction monitoring, with a career spanning over two decades in various roles. At the Bank of China from July 2013 to July 2019, Mark served as Assistant Vice President for Transaction Monitoring, leading a team of specialists in areas such as sanctions screening, policy development, and quality assurance. Currently, Mark is employed at Santander UK since September 2020 as a Transaction Monitoring Rule Governance Co-ordinator and also holds the position of Financial Crime Change Manager, where responsibilities include managing detection parameter changes and overseeing collaboration within transaction monitoring models. Prior to this, Mark worked at Barclays UK Retail and Business Bank as a Senior Agent in Financial Crime from November 2000 to December 2012, focusing on policy implementation, training, and project management. Mark's educational background includes studies at Colchester Sixth Form from 1992 to 1995.
