Phil Weeks

Phil Weeks is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in payments and liquidity management. Currently serving as Head of Payments and TFX at Santander UK since February 2021, Phil has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Head of IPTFX and International Direct. Prior to this, Phil took a career break from May 2018 to February 2021, during which time travel and work on an API-based startup were pursued. Previous positions include Director of Product and Market Management at Standard Chartered Bank and Director of Transaction Banking Liquidity at Lloyds Banking Group. Phil's career began at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as Product Manager - Strategy and Research, with additional roles at HSBC, Bank of America / Merrill Lynch, and others. Phil holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Solent University and further qualifications in international cash management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, along with recent education from the University of Chicago.
