Stuart Smith

Stuart Smith is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in operations and consultancy within the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as Head of Operations & FC/EC Remediation at Santander UK since June 2012, Stuart is responsible for multi-site operations, complex complaint handling, and large-scale remediation operations. Additionally, Stuart has extensive experience in technology implementation and customer advocacy. Prior to this role, Stuart worked as an Investment and Retail Banking Consultant from 2007 to 2012, focusing on operational improvements and regulatory consultancy. Earlier experience includes serving as Organizational & Strategic Development Manager at Banco Santander from 2002 to 2007, where Stuart managed sales force strategy and regulatory compliance. Stuart holds a degree in Management Studies from Robert Gordon University and has pursued further education at London Business School as well as financial planning certifications from FSA.
