David Heard

David Heard has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. David has held various senior positions at companies such as Santec LIS Corporation, Santec Corporation, and Santec Canada Corporation. Prior to that, they worked at Yenista Optics, where they were responsible for defining sales strategies and supporting regional sales teams. David also worked at Michelson Diagnostics Ltd, where they played a key role in developing the sales and marketing strategy for a medical imaging system based on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). David began their career at Sharp Corporation, where they were involved in the development of organic materials for frequency conversion and later proposed a novel optical waveguide device for an optical scanner.

David Heard completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics & Electronics at Durham University from 1983 to 1986. Subsequently, they pursued a DPhil in Engineering & Material Science at the University of Oxford from 1986 to 1990.
