Behrooz Bijani

Behrooz Bijani is a seasoned Senior Production Optimisation Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently at Santos Ltd since January 2018, Behrooz has developed the Dorado Integrated Production Model, integrating various advanced production techniques. Prior to this role, Behrooz successfully led the Digital Oil Field Project at Quadrant Energy from January 2014 to January 2018, enhancing production through Virtual Metering applications. Behrooz's career began at the Department of Mines and Petroleum in Western Australia as a Reservoir Engineer, followed by roles at Baker Hughes RDS/Gaffney, Cline & Associates, where competency in reservoir characterization and dynamic modeling was demonstrated. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Petroleum from Curtin University and a Bachelor's degree in Reservoir Engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology.
