James Murphy

James Murphy currently serves as the Head of Climate, Sustainability, and ESG Strategy at Santos Ltd since March 2020. Prior to this role, James held positions including Chief of Staff for the Minister for Health and Wellbeing and Senior Media Adviser across various government ministries, including the Office of the Prime Minister of Australia. James began a career in media and communications with experience as a Senior Media and Communications Officer at SA Health and as an Editor/Journalist at Boylen+. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Australia, earned between 2005 and 2007.
